MAUS dowel systems or flange locator systems are specially developed for use on rotational moulds. The dowel systems are available in 2 sizes, made of hardened steel.
Easiest installation in mould flanges of steel or aluminium rotary moulds - without special tools. Tightening with Allen key, toothed rings with nuts for locking and clawing on the flange.
In contrast to other dowel systems available on the market, these dowel systems have been specially developed for the use in rotational moulding (i.e. the manual handling of moulds that is typical for the rotomoulding industry, etc.).
While other dowel systems immediately tilt and block when not lifted 100% vertically, the MAUS dowels can be removed at an angle of up to 24°! Without compromising the accurate fit when closed.
The female dowel features a through hole, thus avoiding material build-up due to any incoming plastic powder.
