Date-Codes "Maus-System"
The standard Maus date clock is Ø 20mm and is characterised by its simplicity and user-friendliness. The date clock consists of an outer ring (months) and an adjustable indicator stamp inside (year marker). Both parts are made of brass and therefore offer good thermal conductivity as are corrosion resistant. On the outer ring the months are represented by numbers from 1 to 12. The replaceable year stamp serves as a pointer for the production months and is fixed to the desired position by a wing nut (or loosened if necessary). (other sizes or special solutions such as weekly, daily or shift clocks are available on request).

Double Snap-Sert
Moulding in thread-inserts into a rotational moulded plastic part, is a common practice and is vital for producing multifunctional plastic parts. While such thread-inserts could be easily held with a simple screw inside the mould - the time and labour needed to screw and unscrew the inserts would negatively influence the cycle-times and production cost. With a “Snap-Sert” we offer a much more efficient and comfortable system to fix the thread-inserts inside the mould cavity. The Standard Snap-Sert utilizes a spring loaded ball to securely clamp the plugged-on insert inside the mould. During the moulding process, plastic will build-up around the insert and will form a strong connection to the plastic part.   Being located in demoulding direction the insert will automatically be pulled off the Snap-Sert when demoulding the plastic part. In combination with a „push-bar-clamp” or “Helix” assembly  the Snap-Sert can also be applied to areas that aren’t in demoulding direction. The retraction systems will be used to pull out the Snap-Sert before demoulding the plastic part, so the thread insert is released from the fixing pin.     The Standard Snap Sert is made of Stainless Steel and is available for fixing M4, M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12 inserts.   NOTE: For a secure and tight fixing with the Standard-Snap-Sert, the core or bore hole of the thread-inserts must apply to tolerance H7. (This relatively close tolerance results in higher priced inserts. For using less expensive inserts a Double-Snap-Sert is available)   The „Double-Snap-Serts“ features two holding balls instead of just one and is also manufactured in Stainless Steel. With these two balls, the Double-Snap-Sert permits the application of inexpensive thread-inserts with a wider tolerance (like they are i.e. used in the furniture industry). The Double-Snap-Serts are available for fixing M5, M6, M8 or M10 inserts.    With the „Hot-Sert“ system we can offer you another special solution. This variation features   also two holding balls but the threaded shaft is manufactured in a copper-beryllium alloy. This alloy has a very fast heat transfer which results in an extensive plastic build-up around the thread-insert. Very helpful for applications in which the thread-inserts are located in mould areas that are hard to heat up or applications where the moulded-in inserts have to withstand big torque forces. The Hot-Serts are available for fixing M5, M6 or M8 inserts.   Other designs and sizes are available on request.

Holding Magnets
Our temperature-resistant power magnets are available in various diameters. Standard sizes range from Ø6 to Ø20 mm, other sizes are available on request. The magnets are inserted into the rotational mould to keep inserts in the correct position in the mould during the rotation process. (Brass inserts must first be fitted onto a steel adapter).   Unlike other fixing methods, such as inserts held with screws or snap serts, the shrinkage of the plastic part in the mould is not restricted. This is of great advantage especially for larger moulds or processed materials with a large shrinkage factor.   Furthermore, the magnets can also be used to fix loose parts in the mould.

Maus-Hole™ plugs
Maus-Hole cylinders are used to form openings directly into a rotational moulded plastic product - without drilling or milling. The Maus-Hole cylinders are made of temperature-resistant silicone and can be inserted directly through an opening in the mould wall. The relevant fixing of the cylinders in the mould is carried out via the cast-on collar. Unlike similar placeholders made of PTFE, the slightly flexible Maus-Hole cylinders do not hinder the shrinkage of the plastic part in the mould. In addition, the openings formed with Maus-Hole cylinders have a much more precise edge formation. The cylinders are available in the standard sizes Ø 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm,18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 24mm. Other sizes or designs are available on request.

Rectractable Snap-Serts
Variante: Set für Stahl-Formen
Push-bar clamp assembly for retractable Snap Serts or Screw towers (pins for blind holes). Available for usage on either steel or aluminium rotational moulds, the outer sleeve (made from Steel or Aluminium) can be welded on the relevant mould half. The brass wearing will enable numerous repetitions. Moving the clamps handle by 90° will retract the Snap Sert or blind pins to allow for an easy demoulding. Similar assembly also available for retractable mould dowel systems.

Retractable Snap-Serts "Helix"
The Helix assembly for retractable Snap Serts or Screw towers (pins for blind holes) is available in a version for Steel or Aluminium moulds, to be welded on the mould shell. The brass wearing will enable numerous repetitions of the moving elements.. Twisting the handle in the hardened steel helix chute the by 90° will retract the Snap Sert or blind pins to allow for an easy demoulding. The Helix chute features two defined positions - open or closed. The spring loading of the assembly assures an easy and quick handling.   Also available in a larger version with bigger outer collar, for a retraction/holding system for ¾” inserts.  Similar assembly also available for retractable mould dowel systems.

Retractable Snap-Serts AMF 6844-2 for Aluminium Moulds
Push-bar clamp assembly for retractable Snap Serts or Screw towers (pins for blind holes). Available for usage on either steel or aluminium rotational moulds, the outer sleeve (made from Steel or Aluminium) can be welded on the relevant mould half. The brass wearing will enable numerous repetitions. Moving the clamps handle by 90° will retract the Snap Sert or blind pins to allow for an easy demoulding. Similar assembly also available for retractable mould dowel systems.

Retractable Snap-Serts AMF 6844-2 for Steel Moulds
Push-bar clamp assembly for retractable Snap Serts or Screw towers (pins for blind holes). Available for usage on either steel or aluminium rotational moulds, the outer sleeve (made from Steel or Aluminium) can be welded on the relevant mould half. The brass wearing will enable numerous repetitions. Moving the clamps handle by 90° will retract the Snap Sert or blind pins to allow for an easy demoulding. Similar assembly also available for retractable mould dowel systems.

Screw/Springload Insertholder
The spring loaded insert carrier system is available in different sizes for fixing of M4, M5 , M6 or M8 insert in the mould.  With either a steel or Aluminium shaft, the carrier system can be weld to the relevant mould half. Pushing the insert carrier into the mould, the insert can easily be screwed on the exposed thread. Just a few thread turns will be sufficient, as the spring will pull the loaded insert flush to the mould surface. Before demoulding procedures, a few turns are needed to release the carrier form insert, while the spring loading assembly will pull the carrier away from the insert.

Steel pins for blind or socket holes
For using self tapping screws (Ejot Screws) in the rotational moulded plastic part it is quite common practice to form a blind hole relevant to the desired size of screw. Offering a competitive edge, we have created an assortment of standard sized pins - yet with a integrated hexagon shape next to the collar - for making installment and replacement of these pins so much easier. Standard sizes are Ø 2,2 mm, 2,9 mm, 3,8 mm, 4,5 mm, 6,1 mm in different length. Other sizes or designsare available on request
