Holding Magnets
Our temperature-resistant power magnets are available in various diameters. Standard sizes range from Ø6 to Ø20 mm, other sizes are available on request.
The magnets are inserted into the rotational mould to keep inserts in the correct position in the mould during the rotation process. (Brass inserts must first be fitted onto a steel adapter).
Unlike other fixing methods, such as inserts held with screws or snap serts, the shrinkage of the plastic part in the mould is not restricted. This is of great advantage especially for larger moulds or processed materials with a large shrinkage factor.
Furthermore, the magnets can also be used to fix loose parts in the mould.
