The Helix assembly for retractable Snap Serts or Screw towers (pins for blind holes) is available in a version for Steel or Aluminium moulds, to be welded on the mould shell.
The brass wearing will enable numerous repetitions of the moving elements..
Twisting the handle in the hardened steel helix chute the by 90° will retract the Snap Sert or blind pins to allow for an easy demoulding. The Helix chute features two defined positions - open or closed. The spring loading of the assembly assures an easy and quick handling.
Also available in a larger version with bigger outer collar, for a retraction/holding system for ¾” inserts. Similar assembly also available for retractable mould dowel systems.
